Idaho Statute of Limitations & Exceptions
Video Description
The statute of limitations for a personal injury claim in Idaho is typically two years from the date of the incident. There are some exceptions that apply, for example, for a minor child. If you’re below the age of 18, you may have an extended statute of limitations. There are also a few other exemptions, for example, conditions that can’t be discovered. So if you’re a victim of medical malpractice and the defect can’t be discovered initially, that may toll your statute of limitations, giving you more time.
