What Is the Minimum Car Insurance Coverage Needed in Idaho?
Video Description
Minimum car insurance coverage in Idaho is what’s referred to as a 25/50 policy. That means that there is $25,000 in coverage per person with an aggregate limit of $50,000, so no more than total of $50,000 could be paid out with no one person receiving more than $25,000. That’s the minimum insurance you need to get on the road Idaho. In terms of what policy limits I’d recommend you carry, I never recommend that anyone carry anything less than $100,000 in coverage and that’s in two parts: You need at least $100,000 in liability which protects you if you cause a collision and you also need at least $100,000 in both uninsured motorist coverage and underinsured motorist coverage. And what that does is that protects you if someone else injures you and they either do not have any insurance at all or have insufficient amount of insurance.
