What Is The Connection Between Personal Injury Law and Community Safety?

That’s really what drives everything we do. So we don’t take every case that comes in the door here at Feller & Wendt, LLC™. There has to be that correlation; otherwise, the case doesn’t matter. So for us, what we do, is we help make our community safer. And how do we do that? Let’s look at a medmal case for instance. If I have a doctor that’s not acting safely, it’s a client coming to us telling us about the unsafe act and then having the courage to be able to pursue claims against that doctor. That allows us to do our job, pursue those claims against the doctor, and effectuate meaningful change up to and including either the removal of the doctor from that hospital and the community or some sort of change that’s effectuated. They increase their pre-operative, operative, and post-operative safety checklist, or they stop using dual-use needles and just go to single-use needles. There’s a myriad of different issues. Even with motor vehicle collisions, our work here forces people to reflect upon their conduct and be safer in their daily activities, such as driving or just interacting with other people. Our work here and the courage that our clients have to bring their claims, that allows us to make our community safer places for everyone.
