R. Matthew Feller, Attorney
Mr. Feller is a member of the firms criminal law and business litigation groups. Having been involved in complex criminal and civil litigation early in his practice, Mr. Feller co-founded Feller & Wendt, LLC to provide an unmatched level of success to the firms clientele. His principles of honesty, integrity, and hard work have enabled him to consistently deliver fair, loyal and high-quality service that is appropriately aggressive.
Mr. Feller attended Weber State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Criminal Law and Minor in Business Administration. Following his undergraduate studies, he achieved his Juris Doctor and Trial Advocacy Certificate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. As part of Feller & Wendt's criminal law and business litigation groups, Mr. Feller has earned extensive experience in criminal trials, and multi-million dollar civil litigation.
In June of 2009, Mr. Feller co-founded Feller & Wendt, LLC, establishing a main office in Kaysville City, Davis County, Utah with a satellite presence in both the Salt Lake City metro area and Logan, Utah.
Thaddeus W. Wendt, Attorney
Mr. Wendt's optimism and attention to detail have been invaluable resources for furthering his clients’ cause. Having been involved in significant and complex litigation early in his practice, Mr. Wendt has developed the skills necessary to be a successful litigator. In addition, Mr. Wendt's devotion and open-mindedness to his clients’ cause have earned him wide respect in the legal community.
Mr. Wendt attended Weber State University, where he earned a B.S. in Business Management. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. There he enjoyed being a part of the University's Moot Court Team and volunteering with the Minnesota Justice Foundation.
After working for a large firm in Ogden, Utah, and then managing his own private practice, Mr. Wendt co-founded Feller & Wendt in June of 2009. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Wendt continues to practice Public Defender work for both Ogden and South Weber city.
Mr. Wendt has extensive experience in criminal defense, and personal injury. He has handled hundreds of criminal cases, and has engaged in extensive personal injury negotiations and/or litigation. His experience, skill, and unmatched attention to detail have provided him with the ability to aggressively resolve cases for his clients. He enjoys fighting for the rights of his clients—in and outside of the courtroom—and prides himself on his integrity and unmatched personal attention for clientele.
Mark Carlson, Attorney
Mr. Carlson attended Utah State University where he earned a B.S. in political science with an emphasis in economics. Mr. Carlson then received his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of law where he graduated with honors and a certificate in trial advocacy. While in law school, Mr. Carlson participated on the national moot court honors board and took first place at the National Appellate Advocacy Competition sponsored by the American Bar Association. Upon graduation, Mr. Carlson was elected to the National Order of the Barristers. This honor is given to select law graduates who have excelled in written and oral advocacy.
Since becoming a member of Feller & Wendt, Mr. Carlson has handled many complex cases in the areas of medical malpractice and personal injury law.
Brian Hansen, Attorney
Mr. Hansen attended the University of Utah where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Economics. Mr. Hansen continued with his education at the University of Utah where he recieved his Juris Doctor and focused his education and training on family law and estate planning. While in school, Mr. Hansen was selected to participate in national competitions for negotiating and mediation. Since joining Feller & Wendt, Mr. Hansen has assisted in the litigation of heavily contested marital disputes and has built close relationships with the firm's estate planning clients. Mr. Hansen's extensive knowledge of the law and ability to effectively communicate has earned him a healthy reputation among his peers and the firm's clients.
